During the campaign, the only thing I thought wrong was that the TRUTH and reality of immigrants' stories weren't told - how and what they do whether here under DACA, TPS, or here because they wanted a better life but our system is so bad that applying for citizenship - with a test I am confident none of the new Cabinet confirmed or yet to be could pass - is impossible. The taxes paid without benefits for those here without documents saying they may be; the businesses they started in small towns that, with their work in packing plants, planting and picking crops, caring for children and elderly people, have revived communities. ALL MAGAts hear is that they are criminals. Even someone I know (and ended a friendship with because the lies were repeated) repeated the lies knowing from experience far more. Immigrants serve with honor in our military. Those stories weren't told.
I would like the democrats to grow a pair and fight for our country. Hopefully in 2 years we will take back the house and senate and in 4 have a candidate that will win the presidency and get our country back to what it means to be an American. Accepting of others, you work hard and the “American dream”can be achieved. I miss Obama and wonder what our country would have been like if HRC won in 2016. I do think that election was rigged against her.

The Dems need to simplify their language & learn to concisely get their message across—as Barney & many children’s shows have taught us—repetition is the key to getting your message across.
I can be a little slow at picking up subtle clues but the head jerking shift of his briefing statements hit me like a brick. First two minutes were quiet, gentle, articulate, respectful and I knew deep down this was written by a staff member. Ending with "they were taken into the warm arms of a loving God"... and then WHIPLASH!! The blaming, self-grandiose smarter than everyone else claims, swearing, demeaning rudeness to sensible questions from journalists, accusations, pseudo aeronautical engineering expertise, and just plain moronic rambling hurled me back to the reality nightmare of what a complete loser and psychopath sits in the Oval office. I did not think he could sink lower or disgust me more .... but he did.
You know Trump was choking on those appropriate sentiments. He couldn't wait to get them over and done with. When his voice gets soft, you know he doesn't believe the nice stuff he's saying.

I was listening to the BBC this morning. They were interviewing the head of that Boston skating association that lost so many skaters and coaching staff in the flight. When asked about trump's response, he said it was the first inclination that they had that there were no survivors. That is shocking in that the families should have been notified before anyone went public with that statement. Then he was asked how he'd felt about trump blaming DEI and the former two presidents for the crash. He said the president was just doing his job. WTF?! Assigning blame before the black boxes were recovered, after firing the head of FAA?! The BBC commentator was clearly rattled by his response. I suspect the man was still in shock from the news and may not have been thinking clearly but I was appalled.
Impeachment. Soon!! My Trumplican federal representatives have tasted the kool-aid and will not waiver from their support of the Dictatorship that they are in favor of.

Well, Joe Biden did about the Affordable Care Act and somehow THAT felt ok. The statement that made it sound like Pete Buttigieg's sexual orientation was the reason for the crash or that a Black person flying or serving in the cockpit was the cause .................................. bridges way too far.
Democrat senators could have done so much better at the Patel hearing. They need to COORDINATE their questions (attacks) to be successful. Perhaps a script, so it doesn't matter if the chairman changes the order of questioning. That way they can tell the story to the American People.
Of what I saw, I wanted Schiff to talk more like Kamala - in the stern prosecutor voice and looks that really interrogate and let you know you are lying and better shape up.
