I read this article and I noted that you said you were losing subscribers. I am a subscriber; but, I didn’t even realize it. The problem is, I think, that there are so many of you. It is difficult, for me anyway, to know who to subscribe to and, sometimes, I have to check who I am subscribed to. I also get tons of emails from other independents. Your article today was great; but, I fear that many of you get overlooked because there are so many of you. Plus, after a while it just gets too expensive. I wish the best for you and do appreciate your work. 😊. It is a rough time to be an American.

BDD, the article made me think and my mind went back to that old program "I Claudius" about the total mad emperor of Rome. Remember, he made his horse a senator. There was him and Nero "The Fiddler while Rome burns" and other bad emperors just before the fall of Rome. We have certainly gotten to the point of losing our democracy if this continues much longer and he don't save what is left. Sometimes I wonder if we can still can save our union. Then I read Julie's comment about the expense of too many subscriptions. She's right about. I've had to rethink all the people I subscribe to and make cuts. I kept yours for two reasons. One, I enjoy your articles. They really make me think and... two, your podcasts with Jojo from Jerz! I love the two of you together. They make me think but also make me laugh and give me hope!
